How much does a family photo session cost?
The cost for an All-inclusive Session is $850.00 plus WA State sales tax.
What does all-inclusive mean?
All-inclusive is our time together as well as your images in a private online gallery.
I never want you to have to choose your favorite images. All the edited images that I place in your gallery are yours to keep. My style of photography focuses on the love and connection of your family in a relaxed and authentic way. My goal is to capture your family, just as they are today with prompts and games to create authentic moments. I don’t want to decide on just a few images and I know you won’t either, that’s why you will receive them all.
I create a large gallery (approximately 65+ images) for you, both color and black and white. These will be provided to you in a full set of high resolution files in your own private gallery. You may download these images from the comfort of your own home. You may print or share the images as you desire.
From this gallery you also have the option to order professional, archival quality prints, if you decide to have me do the work for you.
How to Book a Session

Let me know when you want to book a session and I will offer you some dates.
Once we set our date, I will email you an invoice and contract. There is a $400.00 deposit due at the time of booking to secure your date.
Once I receive your deposit of $400.00 you are confirmed and the date is yours. The remaining balance is due on or before our session date. It will be payable online from your invoice.
Once you are Scheduled
Once booked, you will receive a confirmation email along with information to help you prepare. There will be tips on what to wear and avoid, how to choose the best location for your family and how to have happy kids during your session. We will discuss the time of day to insure that we have the best possible light. I will confirm with you via email a couple days prior to our session. At this time we will have a good idea of the weather and the lighting and pick our start time accordingly.
I have some tried and true locations that I can suggest. It depends on the look you are going for whether it be an old barn area, an urban feel, a grassy field or the waterfront. My locations have been chosen for pretty backdrops and lighting. We can also do the session in your own home or yard. I am always open to new locations, so let me know if you have an idea.
Where do we do the session?
Your session fee includes the location of choice and roughly an hour (give or take) of session time. I know how to run a session to keep it fun for everyone. We move around to create different backdrops. With my playful prompts and games we’ll create a lot of variety in that time frame. You may purchase an additional hour for $100.
How long is a session?
Your Session Experience
Don’t be nervous, or worry about being awkward in front of the camera. Most of us feel that way! Just know that I am going to run the session from start to finish. Simply show up ready to have fun with your family and leave the rest to me. Don’t think that everything has to be perfect. Believe me, I know that kids don’t always do what we want! It is okay, we’ll go with it. Sometimes kids take a bit to warm up, sometimes they want to be held the whole time, and that’s okay too. Let go of any expectations I promise we will create art together. This is your family, however it unfolds it will be uniquely yours.
What to expect after the session
Within 3 weeks from the session you will receive an email with a link to your private online gallery. You may view the gallery on your computer or phone.
You may download your whole gallery (computer only) or individual images to your computer or phone. You may also choose to have me print photos for you from a professional lab. You can even order a persoanlly created photo book with the images from your session. Photo and photo books will be delivered right to your home. The gallery will be available to you for 45 days.

How many images will I receive?
You will receive a minimum of 65 high resolution digital images (black & white and color) in your own private gallery. You may print or share as you desire.
You also have the option to order professional, archival quality prints right from your private gallery. These photos will be delivered to your home.
What happens if it rains?
It happens, we live in the Pacific Northwest. But… we have a few options.
-I know of some locations that provide coverage.
-We can do our session in your home.
–If all else fails, we can reschedule.
Leading up to our session date I will keep an eye on the forecast. I will be in contact with you to discuss our options and make plans. Sometimes we may make the call on the day of the session. Please plan on keeping your day flexible, in the event that we need to move our time.
What should we wear?
I get asked this question all the time. Coming up with ideas can feel overwhelming. But don’t stress, here are a few tips.
I always tell moms to choose their outfit first, then coordinate the rest of the family to her.
Earth tones look great as they compliment the colors in the PNW.
Don’t be afraid to be dressy. Flowy dresses add movement to a photo.
Keep in mind that you will be sitting for some of the shots. Choose outfits that work well for that.
Girls in dresses are adorable. Alternate patterns and solids. One in a pattern and one in a solid.
Neutrals look great.
Layering looks great.
Accessories are fun: scarves, necklaces, hats etc.
No logos and no neon or bright colors, they cast a color onto the face.
If someone is in a plaid or pattern, then coordinate solids to them.
Keep in mind that you will be sitting for some of the shots. Choose outfits that work well for that.
